Sylfirm X Side Effects

This treatment is suitable for all skin types. It is safe and gentle to use anywhere on the body. There are few side effects experienced by clients. You may notice some sensitivity to the treated area, slight redness or swelling, or some pinpoint bleeding that will resolve in a day or two.

Preparing for Sylfirm X Treatments

Patients cannot have a gold allergy or Defibrillator/Pacemaker in place if seeking this treatment.

There are no special preparations you should take before your appointment. Please arrive at your appointment without makeup and with clean skin. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications for the week before your appointment.​

A numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area of your skin so you can remain comfortable. The treatment is virtually painless and most patients experience a warm or tingling sensation. 

Sylfirm X After Care

Avoid makeup for 24 hours after your appointment. You may have warm, pink skin that should resolve within 24 hours after your treatment. You may also see some peeling or drying patches on your skin for 3-5 days after treatment. 

How Many Treatments are Needed?

There are various factors that will determine the number of treatments you will require and how often to achieve your skin goals. For most patients, it is recommended to have three to six treatments that are four to six weeks apart. This also depends on the area being treated and what is being treated. Our most common treatment using Sylfirm is Lifting and Tightening. 

Most patients will see some immediate results and improvements over the following 2-3 months depending on the severity of the condition being treated and your treatment plan. One of the benefits of microneedling is that results can last up for 1-2 years depending on what you have treated, following your treatment plan, and your skin care regimen. 

Exosomes are applied directly to the tissue for most treatments to enhance the procedure by reducing healing time and improving collagen-producing effects. They help the skin’s ability to repair, from within,  that is lost as we age. Used after RF microneedling allows for deeper penetration for rapid skin repair and regeneration, boosting the body’s natural healing process. We will go over what you’re trying to achieve, provide a full facial balancing consultation, make recommendations, and create a customized treatment plan for you.
