Botulinum Toxin Injections

Botox and Dysport help to reduce wrinkles. This cosmetic treatment involves injecting botulinum toxin into the skin to temporarily paralyze the muscles and smooth the skin. We work with a variety of brands such as Allergan Aesthetics (Botox®), Evolus (Jeuveau®), Galderma (Dysport®) and Revance Therapeutics (Daxxify™) if you have a preference or by trying different products you may find the one that works best for you.

We recommend treatments every 3-4 months (or every 6 months with Daxxify) to maintain your results and prevent future wrinkles.

Common Botox and Dysport treatment areas for men are the forehead, glabellar lines (also known as the 11s lines that occur between the eyebrows), corner of the eyes, neck area, mouth and chin area, jawline.

Dermal Fillers for Men

We use hyaluronic acid fillers to fill in collagen and volume loss that happens as we age. Fillers are great to soften wrinkles and fill in creases. They can also augment and contour facial features for a smoother and fuller appearance.

Depending on where they are placed, dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6-24 months. Multiple treatments are sometimes required to achieve your goals.

Popular areas with men for dermal fillers: under-eye fillers and tear trough filler can help smooth wrinkles, diminish dark circles, and help with lost volume or hollowness. Other common areas for men are jawline fillers, cheekbones, acne scars, chin, nasolabial folds (along the sides of the nose and mouth), lips, marionette lines (from the mouth to the chin).

BBL Laser Treatment

Broad Band Light (BBL) technology helps to address signs of aging, age spots, sun-damaged skin, and uneven skin tone. Light energy targets the uppermost layer of men's skin, triggering the stimulation of skin cells to boost collagen production. This process leads to firmer, smoother skin and a more uniform skin tone. BBL laser proves to be a powerful method for men to combat the effects of aging and sun damage. Experience the transformative effects of BBL Forever Young for a refreshed, youthful, and rejuvenated appearance.

Most men will require multiple treatments to achieve their desired results. We will typically recommend 3-6 treatments initially and then a treatment every 6 months to maintain results.

Male patients commonly get this treatment done on their face.

Sculptra Skin Care Treatments for Men

For guys looking for a more lasting solution to fight aging, Sculptra is a good option. This treatment helps fix issues with the shape of your face, replacing lost volume and tackling problems like saggy skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. Sculptra injections use poly-L-lactic acid to kickstart your body's natural collagen production. This helps rebuild the structure and volume inside your skin. By tackling the root causes of aging, Sculptra treatment can keep working for up to two years.

You'll see the best results about three months after your last treatment. It's usually a good idea to have a yearly checkup to make sure things stay effective for a long time.

Other Skin Treatments for Men

Laser Hair Removal

Bare HR laser uses light to target the melanin that lies in the hair follicle’s growth centers. From there, the light converts to heat to destroy the follicle at the source. Without its growth center, hair follicles can no longer grow in the treated area. The Bare HR laser works on all skin types - including dark skin colors, sensitive skin, and tanned skin -  and is safe on any area of the body with any hair type.

Most clients will want to get 6 treatments to get the results they are looking for. You can expect to start seeing results after 1-2 treatments.

Men will typically address hair on the back, chest, arms, shoulders, neck, and legs.

Underarm Botox

Some guys may choose underarm Botox to tackle too much sweating in their armpits. Studies have found that it can reduce sweating by 82-87%. Medically-trained and experienced injectors will inject botulinum toxin just below the surface of the skin. This temporarily stops the release of the chemical that tells your sweat glands to start working. By interrupting this chemical messenger, Botox stops sweating in the area where it's injected.

Most people will see results after two to four treatments.

PRF

The Platelet-Rich Fibrin technique, or PRF, is a method where we take your own blood from your arm. We then spin it in a machine called a centrifuge to create a special Fibrin Matrix loaded with Platelets, White Blood Cells, and Stem Cells. This mix releases Growth factors and interleukins for about 10-12 days, speeding up the healing and regenerating processes in your tissues. PRF works well for fixing skin crepiness that filler alone might not handle.

Most people usually need three treatments spread over three months to get the best results, and then maintenance treatments afterward. If you're using PRF for hair growth, you might need up to six treatments.

Common areas to treat with PRF are under the eyes. Men especially can benefit from treating the scalp if they’re looking to boost hair growth!

Sylfirm-X RF Microneedling

This treatment combines dual-wave Radio Frequency (RF) and professional microneedling. It is a great treatment for younger-looking skin as it stimulates elastin and collagen production. This is also a great cosmetic procedure to treat rosacea, and acne scars, and melasma. Sylfirm-X can also address signs of hair loss. It is safe for all skin types and to address concerns on the face and other areas of the body.

The number of treatments you need will depend on what you are addressing and the area being treated. In most cases, men can expect to have three to six treatments that are four to six weeks apart or a treatment for each decade of life (ex. 6 treatments for 60 years old).

Common treatment areas for men are face, scalp, and other areas.
